At the 11th Annual Earth Day Celebration, Anne Patterson will demo the Solavore Sport and offer samples of food cooked in the Solavore (eating a carrot cake baked in a solar oven might change one’s life!).

Solavore CEO, Anne Patterson will join her colleagues, Dr. Katy Garmany of the National Optical Astronomy Observatory and Tom Segelhorst, co-founder of The Quarter Project, for STEM Night 2015. Patterson, Segelhorst and Dr. Garmany will discuss the impacts of science and math in our daily life, and the opportunities available to girls pursing engineering careers. Additionally, Patterson will discuss how the subjects of math, science and technology have opened doors for her personally and for Solavore.
